Cancellation Policy
A 48-hour notice of cancellation is required for any private, duet or
trio session scheduled by appointment. E.g. If you have an appointment
on Monday at 3:00pm then you must cancel by Saturday at 3:00pm or you
will be responsible for paying the full amount for the session. Exceptions
will be made for emergencies, extreme illness or injury. You must communicate
with your instructor regarding the situation prior to the scheduled time.
If you miss an appointment which you had to pay for, you will receive
a Make-Up Pass good for one free mat class to be used within 6 weeks from
the date of the missed session.
Duet/Trio Cancellation Policy
A 48-hour notice of cancellation is still required for duet or trio session
scheduled by appointment, however each person participating in a duet/trio
is responsible for their portion of the class.
· If all the participants in a duet/trio want to move their appointment
they must request that change at least 48 hours ahead of the original
appointment.
· If any individual in a duet/trio cancels with less than 48-hours
notice that person is responsible for paying their portion of the class.
· If any individual in a duet/trio cancels more than 48 hours in
advance then the other participant(s) in the class have the option to
cancel or can agree to pay for the class at a higher rate (private or
duet).
Small Group Class Cancellation Policy
You are not required to notify us if you are unable to attend a small
group equipment class. These classes are provided at a great discount
and limit the additional use of the studio space and equipment. “Make-ups”
in other small group equipment classes are not allowed, however you will
receive a Make-Up Pass good for one free mat class to be used within 6
weeks from the date of the missed class. If there is not a mat class that
meets your schedule there is no reimbursement for classes missed. When
you are registering for a group class you are paying for the instructor’s
time and the use of the space in order for that class to happen.
Late Arrival Policy for Scheduled Appointments
If you communicate with your instructor that you are running late your
instructor will stay to meet you. If you are more than 20 minutes late
without communicating, your instructor is free to leave and you will still
be charged for your session. If you are late your session will still end
on time as it was originally scheduled. If you arrive on time you are
guaranteed a full fifty-minute session. If you choose to leave early,
you will be responsible for paying for the full fifty-minute session.
Late Arrival Policy for Mat and Group Equipment Classes
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to any mat or group equipment
class you may not participate in the class. This policy is for your safety
to protect you from potential injury and out of respect for your instructor
and your classmates. Also, it makes it difficult for the class to progress
over time. If you arrive late you are welcome to watch and learn from
observing. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the instructor
if you are enrolled in an advanced class and are capable of doing your
own warm-up to catch up with the class.
Weather Policy (new weather policy effective as of November 1, 2011)
If schools and businesses are closing due to inclement weather, and The Body Garage announces cancelled classes, you will be issued a bonus mat class slip and a 75% non-refundable credit of the value of the missed class which can be used toward future classes. This policy applies to group equipment classes and personal training sessions. Clients who have reservations for privates, duets, and trios, will be charged 25% of their normal session fee. Due to the multiple incidents of extreme weather in 2011, it is necessary for us to institute this policy.
