BASIC/INTERMEDIATE GROUP EQUIPMENT CLASSES
Basic/Intermediate – for students who are building a broader working knowledge of Pilates exercises while deepening their understanding, strength, alignment, etc. to the level where they are able to do more self-cueing. Students should already be thoroughly familiar with the basic exercises on the reformer, chair, and half-cadillac, and have an understanding of how to self-cue for those exercises without explicit instructions from the teacher. Students at this level should already be fairly secure in challenging their core support in many ways. Intermediate level exercises, and even elements of some of the advanced exercises are gradually introduced, with the teachers providing detailed information regarding intent, cueing, and form.
